Breathe's valuable work is underpinned by robust clinical research. They develop programmes in collaboration with leading healthcare professionals and cultural partners worldwide, then assess it for its medical and economic value. Breathe has co-authored medical journals, published books, and contributed to government policies.
Local Partnerships
Collaborations, causes, charities
No hospitality business is an island. Our Lore Group portfolio of properties is also a proud network of hands-on humans and change-makers. We connect with local organisations close to our addresses in Europe and the United States and beyond to support partners in tackling local and global challenges. We’re excited to celebrate some of the heroes playing a valuable role throughout our value chain thanks to these impact-led partnerships and charity collaborations.

The Felix Project
Sea Containers London is proud to support The Felix Project, a charity on a mission to ensure no one in London goes hungry while fighting food waste at the same time. 1.5 million adults in London struggle to afford to eat every day, with 400,000 children at risk of missing their next meal. Meanwhile, our food industry generates 3 million tonnes of good, edible surplus food each year.
The Felix Project is a London-based food redistribution charity set up in 2016 to tackle both issues. Each day, The Felix Project rescues surplus food from supermarkets, restaurants, wholesalers, and farms - fresh, nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste - and deliver it to food banks, charities, schools, and community programmes across the city.
In 2023 alone, The Felix Project provided the equivalent of 38 million meals to over 1,200 community organisations, with half reaching London’s most deprived areas.
Sea Containers London has been a partner of the Felix Project since 2017 and contributes through team volunteering and hosting patron events for The Felix Project as well as ticketed events to support the cause.

Breathe Arts Health Research
We're proud to be an official partner of Breathe Arts Health Research (Breathe) a not-for-profit social enterprise close to the hotel in London. Their innovative and artistic approach to transforming healthcare experiences offers the people they work with a sense of empowerment, hope and creative fulfilment when they need it most.
Sea Containers London is pleased to support several of Breathe's life-changing programmes including Breathe Melodies for Mums and Breathe Magic Intensive Therapy Programme.
Breathe Magic Intensive Therapy Programme was created to help young people with hemiplegia (a weakness or paralysis affecting one side of the body as a result of brain injury or stroke) through the art of magic.
The foundation uses specially designed Breathe Magic tricks to develop hand and arm function, cognitive abilities, self-confidence, and independence. This award-winning approach, backed by extensive research, gives young people access to 78 hours of intensive therapy and transforms them into young magicians. Specialist occupational therapists work alongside Magic Circle magicians to provide 1-to-1 therapy in a group setting, delivering interventions tailored to suit each young person’s particular needs.
We also work with Breathe to deliver wellbeing support for our teams through Breathe 'pop-up' Music Sessions.
