Welcome to Lyaness, where cutting-edge creativity and exemplary service meet great vibes and killer drinks, from the mind of multi-award-winning Ryan Chetiyawardana AKA Mr Lyan (“The World’s Most Awarded Bartender” The Telegraph; International Bartender of the Year 2015, Most Influential Britons 2017, Personality of the Decade 2017) and the team behind the iconic Mr Lyan Studio, Silver Lyan, Super Lyan, Cub, Dandelyan and Seed Library.

A cocktail bar that goes beyond the simple focus of what’s in your glass - comfortable and fun, Lyaness features different spaces that can accommodate small groups through to bigger social occasions.

Embracing The Alternative

Lyaness embraces the alternative and uses the team’s unique ability to hunt out weird and wonderful flavours and make them interesting and accessible. Ingredients are at the heart of Lyaness and our menu is sectioned around ingredients instead of cocktails; it might seem a little unconventional, but our team will be happy to connect you to your ideal drink.

Please note that we operate an over 18s policy from 5pm. We will however welcome in-house guests who are 16+, as long as they are accompanied by an adult. No alcohol will be served to anyone under the age of 18.

Perfect Afternoons

We’re lucky to be within walking distance of so many iconic London cultural institutions — Tate Modern, the Hayward, BFI, National Theatre — all of which have influenced “Perfect Afternoons” — our new weekend menu that encourages you to take time to pause, connect, and indulge.

Dishes include English coastal oysters with Lyaness black currant mignonette, Space Raider devilled eggs and pan con tomate, with cocktails that suit the afternoon — clean, bittersweet, bright, and with just the right complexity. Choose from five small plates and five cocktails, priced at £30 for two drinks and two dishes, 12pm - 4pm every Saturday and Sunday.

Our Cookbooks are what everyone else might call a menu, but to us, these collections are so much more. With 3.0 Cookbook we've stripped things back to celebrate just how important flavour is.

We've created a window into this complex world by giving context – both to the stories, people, products, and places that surround our drinks, and the way we layer flavour through our toolkit of ingredients. 3.0 Cookbook is a chance for you to engage more deeply - our aim is that you choose a delicious cocktail that perfectly suits your mood, and hopefully, with some wider context behind it, you’ll be able to taste the flavours to their fullest.

Sunday Lyan Sessions

Sunday Lyan is a way for us to work with our friends and inspiring people from around the world on new ideas and exciting products. Hosted in collaboration with our ingredient-obsessed mixer pals Fever-Tree, Sunday Lyan is a night to try something different - a preview of new ideas and flavours to come, or experience something necessarily small batch.
